Barrel Vaulting Rules

All classes are judged in line with FEI, VASA and BEV vaulting rules, as much as these apply to vaulting on a static vaulting barrel.

VAULTERS

  1. All Individual classes will be split between ages and gender, as long as the entries warrant such separation.
  2. Until the end of the calendar year in which they turn 13, vaulters are classified as children. From the beginning of the calendar year in which they turn 14 to the end of the year they turn 18, individual vaulters are classified as juniors. Once they are in the calendar year in which they turn 16 they may choose to compete as an adult.
  3. The vaulter’s dress must not conceal the form and line of the vaulter’s body during the performance in order not to hinder the judging of the exercises. Hair must be neatly controlled. Costumes are not required, unless clearly stated in the entry. Helmets are only permitted for para-classes, and, if shoes are worn, only soft soled shoes are permitted.
  4. All teams have to have minimum of 3 vaulters, exercises can be performed with a maximum of 3 vaulters at a time.
